This headnorth challenge was instigated by team members Gary Wright, Charlie Birkett and Yves Damette, Co-Founders and Director of Y.CO. Y.CO is the challenger brand of the global superyacht industry. Pioneering innovation and bringing a new dynamic, modern approach to yachting, Y.CO specialises in sales, purchase, charter, management, new construction and refit from superyacht hubs worldwide.

By taking on the challenge of headnorth, we hope to inspire the Y.CO team and the wider superyacht industry to give back. As an industry, we are all indebted to the military personnel who have given so much in service and suffered life-changing head trauma.

The Lewis Moody Foundation is dedicated to helping children affected by brain tumours and their families, by organising days out and experiences. The charity also raises funds into research for The Brain Tumour Charity, with the aim of reducing the suffering of children and families in the future.

Funding for the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund remains desperately needed to give serving and retired Royal Marines and their families help to live a better quality of life. The trust helps the wounded and injured, particularly those most severely injured as they begin the transition into civilian life.

With your support, we can make a difference to those in desperate situations.

Y.CO is proud to be part of the GREAT Britain Campaign, one of the only superyacht companies to be involved in this initiative that showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer. Headnorth joins the Adventure is Great part of the campaign, and as a UK company, Y.CO is privileged to promote the best of Britain worldwide.
